On Wednesday 9th November Freemasons Foundation Victoria, the charitable arm of Freemasons Victoria held its Annual General Meeting at Coppin Hall, 45 Moubray Street, Melbourne, commencing at 5:00pm.
The formal part of the meeting was chaired by the Grand Master Don Reynolds as Chairman of Members and occupied about half an hour, after which those present had the opportunity, over light refreshments, to meet and mix with the Members of the company and the Directors Andre Clayton, George Streitberg, Timothy Clark, Andrew Dexter, Edward Finch, Frank Fordyce, David Gibbs, Jane Hill, Myles King, Barry Minster and Carol Scholes.
The AGM provided the Foundation with an opportunity to thank retiring company secretary Roy Alderton for his service in setting up the Foundation, under the authority of then Grand Master Bob Jones. Replacing Mr Alderton is Neil Cripps who previously held the position of Manager of Philanthropic Services. It was also great to have Freemasons Victoria's new CEO Jane Sydenham-Clarke attend with the new Marketing and Communications Manager Andrew Power.
This year's AGM saw the first Annual Report be released also, which outlines the wonderful work being undertaken by the Foundation within the Victorian Masonic, and wider community.
